Terms & Conditions for Ekaia Shortz

These terms and conditions (“Terms”, “Agreement”) are an agreement between you (“User”, “You”) and Ekaia Shortz (“Ekaia Shortz”, “We”, “Us” or “Our”). This Agreement sets forth the general terms and conditions of your use of the Ekaia Shortz mobile application and any of its products or services (collectively, “App”).

1. Collection of Contact Lists

By using Ekaia Shorts, you grant permission for the App to access and import your contact list from your device. This information is used solely for the purpose of suggesting close friends within the App. We will not share your contact list with any third parties without your explicit consent, except as required by law.

2. Suggestions of Close Friends

Ekaia Shorts may use the contact list imported from your device to suggest close friends within the App. These suggestions are based on algorithms and analysis of your contact list and interactions within the App. We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of these suggestions.

3. Acceptance of these Terms By using the Ekaia Shortz App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to abide by the terms of this Agreement, you are not authorized to use or access the App.

4. Use of the App The Ekaia Shortz App allows users to share short videos, products, lives, and audio content. By using the App, you agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding your use of the App.

5. User Content You retain ownership of any content you upload, share, or post through the App (“User Content”). By uploading, sharing, or posting User Content, you grant Ekaia Shortz a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, and display such User Content.

6. Permissions In order to provide you with the full functionality of the App, we may need to access certain features of your device. By using the App, you grant Ekaia Shortz permission to access and use your device’s contact list, location, camera, microphone, and any other necessary features.

7. Privacy Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and disclose information about you.

8. Intellectual Property The App and its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are owned by Ekaia Shortz and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

9. Termination We may terminate your access to the App, without cause or notice, which may result in the forfeiture and destruction of all information associated with your account. All provisions of this Agreement that, by their nature, should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

Changes to this Agreement

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
